Yeah, the orientation and focus of that picture is a little confusing. It confused me too on my previous post.
The tin sleeve moves away from the engine and will reveal the broken pin. In other words the sleeve has to move down in the picture but can't until the C-clip is removed.
That bolster came from my junk pile. On another tractor, I wanted to see if I could push the barrel that contacts the crankshaft back far enough to allow the installation of a two groove pulley on crankshaft without removing the bolster. It did.
