Rear tires depend on many thingd to assure good traction and good ride. Pressures vary between radial, and bias tires as well. The usual amount ranges from 10 psi on some, to 20 or more on others. The tire should leave a tread print that is full width of the tread bars on hard packed ground. It should have fair wt distribution over the width as well, so adjustment on sight to meet these concepts is probably better than setting it to 16psi. Though that might be a starting point. Fronts I would start at 25 to 28 and again drive on firm ground to assess the contact patchand rib contact. again adjustment is good. The tires should not bulge out much (bias tires) but not be so hard that they sink in easily. JimN
