Yea, that block looks pretty bad. I'd talk to mburrow about that engine he's parting out and see what you can come up with. I'd sure hate to do all that work and spend all that money on parts and put it in a block that is that questionable. You might could fix it and come out ok but it would be a big gamble. I'm sure I could fix it given enough time and effort but I doubt it would be worth it in the end. I'd still be afraid of it.
