Tractor is an early M with a front end loader powered by a pump on the PTO. Would it work to tap into the pressure hose, install a pressure control device to run a CharLyn power steering unit? I realize I would not have full-time PS, but any assist would beat the "armstrong" steering now used. I have a live hydraulics pump that fits ahead of the magneto, but hesitate to use it for fear of breaking the camshaft gear. Any comments-pro or con- will be appreciated. Thank you.
