There was a change in the brakes that may make them not work. The early SA had a brake band with a loop on one end and a rod on the other end. Sometime in late SA or start of 100 production the brakes were changed so the band has a loop on both ends (rod was separate) and a toggle connected the rod to the band. The opening for the rod in the final drive housing was made larger to accomodate this change. Internal parts are the same IIRC. You MIGHT get the SA housing to work with careful use of a grinding wheel. Me, I would find a 140 final drive housing and put it on. Don't part out a 140 if that is all that is wrong with it. Have seen them for sale with asking price of $4500+/-
