The 444 is one of those tractors that was built in England. If shipped for sale in the US they were shipped on skids consisting of the clutch housing through rear axles. Engines, electrical system, front axle, sheet metal were all installed in the US before delivery to dealers. If shipped to Canada they were complete tractors with British engines, electrical systems, and sheet metal.
