you need to figure out first if its a fuel problem or ignition. grab a spare spark plug and run the tractor till it stalls. pull any plug wire, stick the spare plug on the wire, ground the plug and try and start the tractor. you you have a bright blue spark, its a fuel problem. if no spark, look to the ignition system. or, when the tractor starts to die, grab the choke and turn it on and off and see if he can keep the tractor running a little longer by using the choke. that will indicate a fuel problem.
