Want ads rarely work, but they're not the only way to find the item you're looking for.
I know, people do it all the time, but that doesn't make it right. We really shouldn't be encouraging this behavior by helping them find what they're looking for. Oh, it's no big deal... Let it slide... Let it slide... Let it slide... Especially when they know better! That seems very UN-American to me.
People have a responsibility to know the rules of this forum and to follow them out of respect for the people that provide the forums to us and to the other users of this forum. If you don't hold people responsible for their actions you have chaos.
