I just got a catalog from a place called Draper Tractor Parts. they list a 504 diesel rebuilt block for $3623.06 this is for a short block. I would suggest you go up to the left hand column and click on tractor parts and order a engine kit from this site and rebuild the block yourself. the kits from here are resonably priced and come with more stuff than the local NAPA or carquest dealers provide in their kits at a higher price.
