I'm doing the same thing right now for a '49. I bought my kit right here, from yt. Had it in 2 days. You'll find that depending on the wear, you may end up going .040 over if .020 won't clean it up. .030 is available, but costs an extra amount simply because the mfr of those pistons can charge it. I had to have the crank turned, guides replaced and since the kit included new valves, I went ahead and had them installed with the seat reground. Crank grinding was $120. I'll have the bill on the block work by next monday.
