They look great! Guess someone updated the Regular with a later F20 steering gear. I LOVE the field mods! All part of the story.
I don’t want to pirate you post or distract from the two old girls that you’ve just picked up, but thought you guys might like to see my old “20” also. I’ve listed some of the field modifications below.
o Has Heisler Intake/exhaust manifold o Equipped with 4 inch bore kit vice the stock 3.75 in bore to increase displacement from 220 cubic inches to 251 cubic inches o Has Heisler Overdrive providing eight forward speeds and two reverse o Equipped with Heisler electric start conversion, although not operational at this time o “Variable” speed governor o Equipped with mechanical power lift to raise and lower implements predating the availability of hydraulic lifts o Has “deluxe” seat made by Monroe, similar to the standard equipment seats found on H and M Farmall tractors o Fan belt converted form a flat belt to an automotive style “V” belt o Brakes updated by retrofitting 1939 style foot brakes in place of the left hand only hand brake The photo was taken when I was pulling another tractor out
