If the engine is skipping I would remove the cap and give it a spray. Let it air dry {Dries really fast}. Check the inside of the cap now and then to see if there is moisture in it. Spraying after running might not help since this product dries so quick and the air inside the cap will still be warm and with the cold outside air moisture will still form. Check it before you run it in the winter.
