In regards to the previous thread on issues logging in to redpower magazine forum or failed attemps to join. The administrators are aware of the problem & are working to solvce it The following was posted over on "Redpower" by Sallie and addresses some of the issus. Hope she doesn't mind me posting it here.
"Hello, There are two issues here. I have a request in to see if I can help the members that are already registered but are having problems logging in or staying logged in. Invision is working on that now. If it is something on their end they will fix it. The other issue is registering. Because of all of the spam we have to finish the validation process and do the final approval. We will be doing a new upgrade which should help me out with this problem. In the meantime if you register and can not get on just please call the office 712-364-2131 and Jacy or I will validate you right away or e-mail dmiesner@netllc.net. However, when they do this upgrade it will change the look again of the forum since it requires a skin change. Knowing how you all hate change I have put off doing this.
So please bear with me. It is deadline time for the magazine so we are busy in the office and of course we have had a wonderful winter here in NW Iowa. I hope this addresses some of your concerns. Sallie @ Red Power Magazine "
I'd also like to add that I have been a member for several years. Redpower is a good site with lots of usefull information. Someone mentioned that it is for mostly later tractors & equipment. I find that not to be true. You can find threads on about any era IH tractor you want to discuss, including older & newer. Even threads at times on other colored tractors & equipment, ehich I migh add chaps a few of the die hard IH lovers but in these times it's just a way of life if you're a farmer.
I invite you to come over & check out the different boards. I think you'll find something there you'll like. Also check out the "Coffee Shop" board where there's discussions on about anything under the sun. It got it's name as it's like sitting in a coffee shop with friends & neighbors where the topic of discussion varies day to day.
