Anyone know of a source, other than Case-IH, for the hydraulic power beyond plate for the IHC 784? As I understand it the 454, 464, 495, 574, 484,584,684, 884, 885 and 895 as well as the 4210 and 4230 as well as some industrial models use the exact same hydraulic parts? The Case-IH part number is 123082C1, which as I understand it was replaced by 123082C2, but either one be workable for my installation. Yes, can get the power beyond plate for the 784 from Case-IH but you will not believe their price, well maybe you would. How about salvage yards? Any suggestion on a salvage yard that I might try? The 784 that I have had a loader on it when I bought it, but I did not want the loader and it was removed before delivery. As I remember it was a not an IH loader. I don’t know how they had it plumbed, too long ago. The plate on the end of my remote valve looks like a power beyond plate, at least it looks like the 123082C1 which has only one out port (only one out port, not two), but the out port is on the top of the plate sticking up, not to the side pointing forward or to the front, but I don’t know if what I already have is power beyond or not. How do you tell? Based on parts diagrams what I now have looks like it the single outport power beyond plate, but based on the parts diagrams it also looks just like the non-power beyond plate too. I have nothing to compare what I have now with short of ordering the C1 plate from the local IH dealer and sending it back if it is the same as what I have, but I am sure the dealer would not like that too well.
I did look at the parts diagrams on the Case-IH web site for the 2250 loader and did note the three ways that it can be plumbed (diagram or page 2-40 Hydraulics, External Control) but these methods all start with the power beyond plate 123082C1. I would rather use the power beyond plate than use other plumbing methods as it is cleaner, quicker and easier. Anyone?
