Well myself if i was going stock farm class dead weight pulling it would be a gasser hands down , why well i built one for a vary good friend and it became the most hated farm stock tractor in the 8500 thru 14500 and the most winning tractor in four countys . His wife told him that he had to stop pulling it because she was running out of room for the trophies . And all it was was a 64 706 C263 gasser with a narrow ft. fast hitch and 15.5x38 rear tires and clam shell fenders . I have six trophies from the times i pulled it all first place . Now as far as a western style pull for get it here she had a total lack of pony power.
