First make sure you have a good supply of fuel into pump, if that is good, take off fuel return fitting from top of pump,all parts, check for small pieces of plastic indicating failure of govenor shock ring. See if it will continue running with all return fittings out. They will fill that little check valve full of crap, you can remove ball and spring and crap and safely run tractor for a few hours until you can have pump repaired.
