Make sure you don't have a vacuum leak at the manifold or the base of the carb.Here is how I suggest you can check it turn the engine over and see if you have gas running out the carb.Then check the #2 or #3 spark plug to see if they are wet. If not you have a vacuum leak . Also if the battery is low on charge that can be a problem if you have a battery ignition. You may be pulling down the amperage with the starter and not have enough voltage to allow the ignition to fire the plugs Steve
