a regular utility will have 28 or 30" back tires. the high utility will have 38" back tires and a bar axle like the farmalls. also longer front spindles. because of the way the front axle on a 656 utility is hung, it will wear the bushings faster than a farmall front axle will. if it has had a loader on it for much of its life, check the slop in the axle suspension with a hydraulic jack. also check the steering arms tightness to the spindles.
