If the rad checks out good with proper flow then i would be looking at several other things that would cause it ti warm up. Fist i would check the horse power and see just how far up she is above stock setting and pump timing . then also i would install a manual gauge of good quality and check against that . also i would watch for any coolant loss that might be a tell tail sign of compression getting into the cooling system under load . Might be even leaking injector cups or a cracked cup . there are a lot of things that could cause this but ya got a starting point.
