You have to remove the grill and hood unhook the steering block the front of the tractor up and it is best to have help since that stuff is heavy and awkward to handle unless you have a couple chain hoists etc.
Talk about giving out WRONG information!!! What makes you think the hood and grill need to come off???
The first reply is correct. You do need some very good support under the tractor, but basically, just un-bolt the wide front and replace it with the narrow front.
