The latest news is that the owner of the 64 Farmall 806 that I am looking at says he remembered a set of fenders coming in with the tractor but didn't think they were flattops. He said they looked like the old clamshell type on the 560's. He is going to send me a picture. Maybe the puzzle is coming together and the tractor actually has a set of fenders. Thanks for all the help on the possible combinations of what could have been. I will keep you posted when I get the pictures of the fenders. Sure hope the fenders are for the tractor as that would remove some of the anxiety about buying the tractor. I also think it is a T.A. delete tractor which doesn't make me real happy but I can live with it as it is one less thing to worry about.
