I have seen a clean great new filter plug up and not flow with what looked like no reason. Nothing visible in or on the paper pleats. The paper pores become plugged and without fuel pump pressure, the gravity is not able to make it flow. One day I (in my near sleep) put sugar in the coffe basket of the coffe maker. My instant solution was to put the coffe in on top of it sense I would put sugar in it as well eventually. Wrong! The sugar plugged the filter immediatly and would not allow coffe to flow. The basket over flowed making a dramatic mess. I am sure there is not sugar in the tank, but filter s can be the problem. Put a piece of rubber hose where it is, and see if it runs! Jim
