I just put mine back together this evening, had the same problem. It's very easy. The seal is in a bearing retainr/cover held in place by two bolts. Just remove the two bolts and the retainer will slide right off the pto shaft. When I did mine, I did lose some oil, so be prepared for that. Once you remove the cover, the seal cann be driven out easily with a seal driver or even an appropriate size socket and hammer. I got the new seal from Carquest, cost me 9 bucks. Just give 'em the part number from the old seal, they should be able to cross it just fine. The whole job took 30 minutes tops. Gary
