Follow Gary's procedure, but there are a couple of things you might want to keep in mind. The seal housing is also the bearing retainer. Don't pull on the PTO shaft (as I did). You will spend more time re-stabbing the shaft and collar than doing the entire seal replacement. Also, make sure there are no burrs on the splines of the shaft when installing the new seal. It can nick the lip and not solve your leak problem. I have wrapped rough shafts with part of a sheet of notebook paper and rotated the seal - in the same direction of the wrap - to prevent lip damage. This is a 'must' if you plan to run the thinner hy-tran fluid and want zero leakage.
