Roses, Do you have a clipping of the auction sale bill? Maybe you could check w/newspaper the ad was placed in and try to contact the auctioneer. No newspaper info, check w/the local histerical :^) society if it was a local paper and search for the sale bill for auction company. I say this as local auctioneer keeps paperwork from his auctions. Yup, may be a lot of leg work, but by your posting, you obviously are willing to go the extra mile to try retrieving your grandpa"s Super MTA. With that paint job, someones memory may be jogged. Possibly make posters seeking "tractor whereabouts and mail to engine/tractor clubs in Tennessee. On the left side of this page; under "Community" click on the "Show Guide" and "Events Calendar" links and see if any exhibit contacts are listed. Under the "Galleries" heading, if you have a photo, post it using the "Stuck & Troubled" link. A note to others, if a tractor is being sold by family/friends/enemies, why not jot down a serial number, it could be of help in such a detective task.
