The reason fenders are more plentyfull in some states is because several states had laws that required all tractors shipped to that state to have fenders. It wasn't the law in Iowa but I would say all Cubs,B's,'A's, C's and most H,s and M's were delivered with fenders. Several implements required the removal of them so most of them ended up hanging a building.Back in the 60's I probably collected 15 sets just from the neighbors. For many years they sold at swap meets for 20 bucks a set. The fender mounting extenders were never offered by IH. they are all aftermarket.
