As far as radio interference where resistive carbon core suppressor wiring is used, thats more for the high voltage like coil or plug wires. While youre only looking at 4 or so amps from the coil to distributor (primary low voltage wiring) Id still use 14 or 12 gauge with crimped and soldered terminals..
OOPS do you mean the HV cable (coil wire) from the coils center HV output tower to the top center of distributor cap orrrrrrrrrr the small wire from the coils small output terminal to the side of the distributor?? REGARDLESS copper is fine, a standard copper wire core high voltage "coil wire" will work. In cases where radio interferene is an issue, thats where carbon core resisitve coil and plug wires can be used however.

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
