Mike Schwartz said: (quoted from post at 16:58:46 03/04/10) Ha Ha, I wish, I am afraid I come from the poor and broken down Schwartz family. I was thinking that $300 was probably a pretty fair price for a good used IH wfe, what do you think? What is everyones opinion of a SPEECO wfe? Thanks Mike.
Speeco and Schwartz are the same thing now, and parts are readily available for both.
A brand new Schwartz to fit a Farmall M through 450 will run in the neighborhood of $1,200.
A used wide front, in excellent condition, will cost between $600 to $800 or higher. A $300 wide front will be pretty much all worn out, unless you are very, very lucky.
