If you have both rear wheels off the ground and a wheel turns only if the other one is allowed to turn in the other direction, The bull gears, bull pinions, and differential are all working like they should. The ring gear and pinion are not turning.
Does it feel like it shifts OK? You might remove the shift lever and make sure all the forks are in their neutral position. It may be locked in two gears at the same time.
