Just take the bolts out that hold on the rocker arms. After you replace the gasket and the rocker arms, you have to adjust the clearance between the arms and the pushrods. Clearance is 0.014 hot, set them to about 0.016 cold. First torque the head to 80 ft lbs. Run it for a while, retorque and reset the valves. The I&T manual, available at TSC, etc is ok. You can get the IH shop manual from www.binderbooks.com.
