There are no problem areas with an M. As mentioned things do wear out, and steering (though it won't fail, will get loose with time). Not hard to fix, and parts are still reasonable. Buy manuals for it from here Or binder books, or Ebay etc. The hydraulics are modest 700 to 800psi. and stop when the clutch is pushed in, but that is normal for the vintage. Great tractors. I was sitting on them when I could stand up. Drills are easier to find as yard art than usable. (unless new) make sure the disk or shoe planting components are not worn off. The fertilizer tubes are often rusted away, and wooden components can be rotted. Drive chains and sprockets, adjustment levers and slider doors on some can be rusted tight. Fertilizer is nasty corrosive. Wheels and hubs should be free and tight on the axles (jack up to make sure they are not falling off) Best of luck, and ignore those who have nothing to do but irritate. Jim
