All engines have blow by, diesels have more than gas . I can't see it from here so don't know if it is excessive or not. It comes from combustion pressures leaking past the piston rings. There are methods of checking the crankcase pressure with a water manometer and orfice tools. If it starts well, doesn't use excessive oil, it is just something you have to explain to every one who see it. Sometimes when you have anti freeze contaminating crankcase they will steam out of breather looking like excessive blow by, when actually it is evaporating the moisture. That would be something to worry about and find the problem.
