Jim, I haven't read all your posts but a few years ago we had bought a cub at auction and it did the same thing (died after warming up). I replaced about everything you mentioned and it still did it. Then we hauled it to a dealer and he replaced the "ignition switch" and that cured it! If the tractor looks like it has sat out some over the years this may be the problem. Good luck.
