I'll agree with MrG. Sounds overpriced. TA's are great when they work but a high priced item to replace. The price seems to be steep to me even if the TA was good. I just watched a 450 that ran great and just needed repainted to be a show tractor go for $1,200 at an auction. Take our time look aound and find a deal.
