Last year I picked up an older style post hole digger. It's not a 3-point hitch style and the owner believed it came off of an old Farmall of some type. The paint or whats left of it is IH red. There are two metal ID tags on it. One says "Danuser Digger" and the other "Dearborn Mfg., Tractor and Implement Div., Ford Motor Co., Model 22-59". What I would like to know is what tractor this could attach to and how this digger attaches to a tractor. It has two main lift arms (pipe about 5' long) which have perpendicular bushings welded to oneend as though to fit over a 7/8 pin. About 2' down from the open end are two plates welded to the pipe. The plates are set about 1 1/2" apart and have holes for a 3/4 pin (obviously a lifting point). On top of the main lift arms slip 2 larger diameter pipes about 2' long. These pipes are connected to the auger head. These pipes also have connected to them 4'long 1" diameter pipes which look as though they attach back to the tractor somehere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
