I posted about the "wobbling" fan assembly on my SH a day ago. I did as you all suggested and pulled the radiator this afternoon, then the fan and then the hub assembly. BOTH bearings were totally busted up. A few little balls rattling around in there. Can't get the bearings and seals til Monday so have a day to think about the pump. Is there a way to bench test a pump? Is there a way to spin it up ON the tractor and test it? I have the Tsat housing off and I'll replace that while I have it broken down, Interesting to see that all the hoses were just rubber hose and not radiator hose. I guess with the low pressure they stood up OK There was a sticker on the radiator from a now closed local radiator shop (Milt's) dated 1983. When did Farmalls switch from the lip on the inside of the radiator neck to the lip on the outside?
