You are probably correct but the parts book clearly indicates they are also to be used for Duals ( page 2 section 15 ). When I bought my Cubs they came with an extra set of tires , wheels and centers so I thought I would just put duals on one tractor for a different look. I'm trying to find the best way to configure the wheels and centers so the 5 inch factory spacer will work. One way is to mount the centers on the inside tires on the outside of the square lugs. This will give me about an inch between the 8.3x24 tires but the inside tire will be very close to the fender. I was just looking for advice .Thanks
