are you saying you tore it down after dynoing and honed it again with a new set of rings? are the rings crome plated, those are harder to seat. how long was it run on dyno?gas or deisel? get it to operating temp, even cover the rad and make it pull hard for a few hrs.could even give it a sniff of bonamy in the intake, like a table spoon full.something sure dont sound right here.are the rings installed properly and not upside down? i have seen smaller rings installed on a piston, example 33/4 rings on a 4" piston.but you say the end gap is .015 so thats ok.
