All (mostly) good suggestions below. I'd thought about Bob M's diagrams (God bless him for the work he put into them and keepin' them available to all of us). There's not one there for the C specifically and, depending on when your tractor was built, for a regulator as opposed to a relay. In his diagrams, the A and B are most similar. The H and M diagrams are helpful, but he wiring to the starter will be different. If you have a sense of the differences, you'll be fine if you look at both. Between the generator and the ammeter, it will look more like an H or M with a regulator. Between the ammeter and the starter, it will borrow from the diagrams for the A and B. By all means keep the link. Even with my library of manuals for my tractors, I've gone back to it many times.
The caseih site and the OEM catalog are both good, too, and well worth checking out, even if they tend to be a little fuzzy in resolution.
Wire it up, polarize your generator and try it out. If it isn't workin' right, c'mon back. JohnT and the rest of us will be glad to help ya out.
