My son had an old WC Allis that mice built a nest in the bellhousing & pi$$ed on everything causing everything to rust together. We were able to get it about as far apart as you have. We tried large pry bars to no avail. Finally, in desperation, we sprayed a can of PB Blaster up in it & let it sit a couple days. Then we parked another tractor in front of it & hookd a chain hoist between the two. Between the chain hoist & using pry bars we were finally able to get it aprt but I was binging to wonder for awhile. If you try something similiar just go slow & cross your fingers something doesn"t break.
