What do the codes on the lustron IH planter plates, stand for. For instance the code C7-16. I know the C stands for IH and the 16 means it has 16 cells. But what does the #7 and other numbers right behind the "C" stand for?
Recently got two Farmall 140's with all sorts of implements and other stuff. Trying to put something together to plant a couple acre garden. Want to plant southern peas, large and small lima beans, okra, snap beans and corn. I already have two plates for corn, large and small kernels.
Finally have it all figured out and ready to go except needing some plates for the IH 180 planter. Found some plates for sale on ebay but can't find out what numbers I need. Problem is I'm a retired Navy Chief that was raised in the city. Never saw any Farmalls in the Navy or in the city.
Called AG Products and they can't tell me anything except to send the seeds off to Colorado to get them sized. Don't have time for that.
