Rick,

By the time the 656 came out all of the tractors had International on the hood but had Farmall in small letters so they were technically International Farmalls whereas the wheel/standard type tractors were just plane International. The 656 was therefore a International Farmall 656 or a International Farmall 656 High Clear, but there were no just plane International standard/wheel type tractor model of the 656. The 756's and 856's, etc. fall in the same techinically with Farmall being in small letters but when you ordered a new tractor in the Catalog they were still Farmall whereas the wheel/standard and industrial tractors were International.
