I posted this photo a few days ago of the setup I made for my 424. It's not a very complete picture, but it gives an idea of what worked for me. I don't know how similar your 384 is. If I get out to the farm later today I'll get a better photo.
"The 3-point hitch swayed badly and made using a sickle mower impossible and using a rotary mower miserable, so I remodeled some off-the-shelf aftermarket sway bars for an 8N Ford. I had to re-do the under axle brackets and shorten the bars themselves. They work GREAT."
