I had some carpet and some carpet mat left over from redoing a few bedrooms. Put the mat and carpet on the cab floor and it really helped with the noise from the drivetrain. You definately need the foam stuff on the top inside, this will absorb a lot of noise too. The sides arent as important but will also help with the noise. It also helps to get the exhaust over the cab 6" or so. I have mine the same height as the cab for clearance getting into a low barn and without the extension it does make a difference. It won't be as quiet as the 86 series cab, but in my opinion the 66's are more reliable and easier to work on.
