Sprockets grousers and idlers look very good (from pics) nice dozer. Put auto trans fluid into the spark plug holes (with it in the gasoline start position) (about 10 squirts from a pump oil can) and let that part sit. Remove the valve cover, spray penetrant on each stem/spring (including the starting valves) and use a smaller old fashon monkey wrench or other tool to depress each valve. If any are stuck, tap on them as you push. if they begin to move, use good sense, and pull them back to avoid driving them in too far. When they return on thrir own, you can be confident in turning the engine. (check the fuel injection pump as indicated in the other post). After turning, again check the valves for stuck (full cam lift can cause them to stick, and lifters can also stick. Nice unit. Jim
