ltf in nc, If it was in a thermo-syphon unit I'd drain it and get a good quality radiator flush. Remove the thermostat and fill the radiator with soft water (like clean rain water) add the flush and bring the unit up to operating temp. Let circulate for about 30 mins. Shut off unit. Drain radiator. Leave radiator drain out and flush with fresh water through neck of radiator. Let drain completely. Refill with new pre-mixed coolant/water. Keep an eye on radiator level for a few days. This has worked for me in the past and never had another problem with the coolant.//FB
