This U-7 power unit is resting in a Junk Yard Near me in Eastern Tennessee. If is pretty complete and the radiator and gas tank look good. Crank turns the engine easily, but no compression. Maybe the valves are stuck. Paper pulley is shot. It supposedly last ran about 18 months ago. You can see the U-7 power unit on page 145 of 150 Years of International Harvester. Only 414 of these were made. It weighs 1435 lbs, more than I want to tackle, but someone needs to save this thing from going to the foundry for scrap. The guy wants $500 for it and won't budge on the price. He also has the sawmill that it ran, but I did not look at or ask a price for that. E mail me and I will give you contact info.
