ADLM said: (quoted from post at 07:41:18 05/08/10) OK, now I can see where I went wrong. I'm still looking for a replacement. When i get it, do I just slide it in, or is there something more to it than that. And, There is a guy who lives just out of town that has a bunch of junked-out Farmalls that he sells parts off of. How about picking up a used one? Thanks.
Nothing wrong with a used one, just make sure it IS the same as what you have now. Somewhere on the one you have is a part number. Find one that has that same part number and you're good to go. The replacement just sits in the hole. Drop it in and go.
