Lynn - I painted this Super M (including the motor) with Central Tractor's "IH Red" machinery enamel about 4 years ago. I suspect that's what your body shop friend proposes to use on yours. I've been satisfied with the paint - good color, nice finish and has been reasonably durable. The only paint that's come off is on the exhaust manifold and the foot pedal treads. This tractor is not a show machine - it see's 60 or so hours of use every year pulling wagons, pushing snow, etc.
