It's a simple matter of loosening the nuts on the wedge bolts, hitting the wedge bolts with a hammer to loosen them up and then more hammer work to move the shank assemblies over. If they haven't been moved lately use lot's of your favorite penetrating oil. If I'm not in a hurry i use WD40 in several applications and let it soak for days . I like WD 40 because it's cheap. If I'm in a hurry I use Kroil and a torch. I have #10 cultivator with the square frame and also the #10P with pipe frame. Both were set up for other than the 36" rows I wanted Both came apart easy and were easy to adjust. Loosen every thing up with the assemblies off of the tractor. Mount the assemblies and them move the shanks. I laid 2 8' 2X4's on the ground to simulate my rows. Between a tape measure and eyeballing them I got them perfecly simetrical. Once you have them where you want them tighten everything up. I did buy the owners manual after the fact and didn't need it.
